1. Aluminum foil bruises

Aluminum foil bruising refers to the damage on the surface or end face of the foil after collision with other objects during handling or storage. Most of the bruises are caused by the inattention of aluminum foil packaging.

2. Corrosion

The surface of aluminum foil is in contact with the surrounding medium, and after a chemical or electrochemical reaction, defects are produced on the surface of aluminum foil. The corroded surface of aluminum foil will lose its luster and, in serious cases, produce gray corrosion products. Corroded aluminum foil will have a great impact on the beauty of the products produced by the terminal.

3. Surface bubbles

Aluminum foil with surface bubble defects has irregular round or strip-like cavity bumps on the foil surface; the bumps have rounded edges, are asymmetrical on both sides, and are irregularly distributed. The surface bubbles make the force at each point of the aluminum foil strip uneven, which is likely to lead to pulling off and stopping.

4. Dark surface stripes

Dark surface stripes mostly appear on double-combined products, and the dark surface has obvious light and dark stripes along the rolling direction, which affects the beauty.

5. Streaks

There are various circumstances that can lead to marks on the foil surface, such as defects on the surface of the rolls or guide rolls or dirt such as metal shavings, unclean or locally smooth bumps on the surface of the sleeve or core, or foreign objects stuck to the foil surface during rolling, etc. The surface of the foil with marks is usually characterized by single or periodic depressions or bumps, which can be easily identified.
